Stephen knows the pledge of allegiance and at least 8 NFL quarterbacks and which team they play for; not to mention the number of golfers and baseball players he knows, and to which team they were traded to this season. He also knows what type of ball Dustin Johnson, the golfer, plays with. He knows even the managers of the Diamondbacks, the Astros, and the Rangers. He has also memorized most of 2 alphabet books (one about baseball and one about Arizona) and reads them to me before bed. He’s going to read before long.

So, TJ has learned to sit up and learned how to crawl in a short period of time. He’s outgrown his miracle blanket and now I’m having him sleep in a lightweight muslin sleep sack because it is over 100 degrees here. He takes longer to go to sleep and sometimes doesn’t want to, but hey, he’s learning how to move, and thus has to also learn how to settle down.
We had a little bit of trouble with Stephen having fights at school, so we are picking him up about an hour to an hour and a half earlier, and it seems to have helped. He still doesn’t eat his lunch at school, but progress. In Dallas, it took a good 6 months of transition to school, so anything less than that is progress. Little by little.
TJ is army crawling around the room now; only a little ways off from crawling on all fours. He also has learned to sit up without falling.
Stephen is taking and loving swimming lessons. His new goggles are awesome and allow him to be more confident in the water.
